Ray joins Willkie’s Los Angeles office from Cooley. He has been nationally recommended by The Legal 500 United States for his M&A work. He has also been listed in Best Lawyers for his work in leveraged buyouts and private equity law. Ray represents leading private equity firms, such as Shamrock Capital Advisors and Platinum Equity, and their portfolio companies, as well as public and private companies, in their day-to-day legal affairs and in transactions across a range of industries. Ray has worked on a variety of complex corporate transactions, including tender offers; acquisitions and divestitures; public offerings; and private and public equity investments. He also advises clients in the areas of public disclosure and reporting, corporate governance and general corporate matters.
