Partners Jay Gerzog, Eric Altman, and associate Tamar Rosenberg join Sheppard Mullin from Epstein, Becker & Green. Jay Gerzog is a prominent health care transactions partner and widely recognized expert on tax-exempt and not-for-profit institutions. He has over 25 years of experience advising large institutional hospitals, health care systems, and life sciences companies regarding significant business transactions. Eric Altman was one of the leaders of Epstein, Becker & Green’s real estate practice and represents large institutional hospitals in transactions that range from the acquisition, structure and finance of distressed hospital/healthcare assets to the typical lease, license and related real estate advice associated with operations. He also nationally represents several prominent domestic and global clients in all aspects of their complex commercial real estate transactions. Jay and Eric formerly practiced together at Skadden Arps before their time at Epstein Becker & Green.
