Matt Jacobson has joined Baker McKenzie as a partner in their Palo Alto office. He was formerly at Ropes & Gray, where he served as co-head of the technology, media and telecommunications practice. Matt’s practice focuses on buy-side M&A, representing large strategic and private equity-backed companies. His clients include HP Inc., Thermo Fisher, and Silver Lake Partners. Matt has advised HP Inc. on several deals, including its $3.3 billion acquisition of Poly and the $25 billion acquisition of Compaq.
